Administrators use the Employees area to invite people into the tenant and maintain their access. An invitation creates a tenant-scoped membership; it is not just an address-book entry.
Invite an employee
- Open Organization, then Employees.
- Choose Invite employee.
- Enter the person’s work email and display name.
- Select Member unless the person needs organization-wide management responsibilities.
- Send the invitation and confirm that the employee appears with the expected status.
Ask the recipient to use the newest invitation if more than one message was sent. Do not send temporary credentials through chat or place them in a ticket.
Maintain the employee record
Use the employee detail page to review organization context such as Department and Job Description assignments. Changes to these fields affect how the person is described, but they do not silently change the person’s base role or evidence entitlement.
Change permissions
Role and evidence-reader changes are separate actions. Review the employee, the current permission revision, and the intended access before saving. OrgWell protects against overwriting a newer permission decision; refresh the record if you are told it changed.
Deactivate access
Deactivate access when a person should no longer enter the tenant. Before doing so, review active Campaign work and assign an owner for any administrative responsibilities. Reactivation should be an explicit, reviewed decision.
